How interesting. It’s an interesting question, with a variety of different people offering their views. They all seemed sincere, and took the question itself seriously, which was heartening. It’s nice to know people are willing to reflect on their own life goals. It struck me, though, that nearly everyone’s goals were individual (no doubt a reflection of our culture). They focused on their personal desires for achievement or attainment, procreation, and happiness. No one really offered a goal that was collective or other-focused, such as to contribute to the well-being or opportunities of other people (who were not their own offspring)or even other life, such as the earth, animals, etc.
It is interesting to see how goals change over our lives depending on the stage we are in. From graduating to having a family, having kids, to staying healthy. I would say my goals are similar. At this point in my life my top goals are to see my two son’s graduate from college.
Wow, most important goal in life huh? Watching this video, I found myself surprised at some of the answers I heard, and wondering what I would say if I were asked. Probably kind of what the one guy said… become independent. I want to be self-sufficient… but even more than that I just want to be out on my own. I want be, unchained an unrestricted. Free to make my own failures and successes.
The goal in my life is to be a successful person so as to set life for my family. They should never be bothered for anything in my presence. My family is the motto of my life.
There is hope for humanity. Interviewees say they want to be happy and healthy, do the right thing, contribute to society, fight for what’s right, continue their educational paths, and be good parents.
At this point, the most important goal in my life is to have a good wife to care for me and a good children to make joy and spice of my stay here on earth. And also, to be successful in what i have now.
My important goal in life is to be successful. Not in a monetary sense, but rather in terms of accomplishments. My worst nightmare would be to wake up someday knowing how much I let pass my by in life. Thus, my biggest goal is just doing as many things as possible.
this is a really hard question. At 20 years of age, I still really do not know what I want to become or what I want to do. But as of now, I’m trying my best to figure it out..and guess what I’m studying Civil Engineering at a nearby University.
Picking what you want to do with your life is always a REALLY hard decision to make. One which most certainly must not be taken lightly. Fortunately i had it that IT was always going to be the way forward for me. Anything or any game that involved a career always pointed me to working with computers.
I now work in a successful web design company and enjoying every minute of my work. I guess my only advice is that the best thing for you will make itself obvious and the choice and movement towards that goal will be an easy and fluid one.
